Hyderabad:
The insurance regulator IRDAI on Tuesday has constituted a Working Group under chairmanship S P Chakraborty, general manger (Actuarial), IRDAI, to prepare the draft regulations for revamping the existing Linked Insurance Products Regulations 2013 and Non-Linked Products Regulations 2013, on the basis of the recommendations of another panel that was constituted by the regulator on 12th Jan 2017.
The Chakraborty panel, with its eight members, would also examine the feedbacks that the industry had given on report prepared by the earlier panel.
The Working Group should submit their recommendations to the Member (Actuary) within one month from the date of its constitution, said the IRDAI,
