Mumbai:Private sector life insurer ICICI Prudential Life Insurance has appointed Sidharatha Mishra, Head Digital Channel – NRI Business, ICICI Bank as its additional director and MD& CEO, for a period of five years with effect from October 14 or date of approval of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India, whichever is later.
As part of the transition,Mishra has been appointed as chief operating officer of the life insurer with effect from October 6, 2026.
Mishra has over 25 years of experience in ICICI Bank’s across Retail, Corporate, and Wholesale Banking.
As head of Digital Channels & Partnerships, non-resident India (NRI), International Financial Institution Group(IFIG), Phone Banking, ERM, and Customer Service at ICICI Bank, he has driven its digital transformation, business growth, and global banking solutions.
He is passionate about innovation, customer experience, and building high-performing teams to shape the future of financial services, said his LinkedIn briefs.
Mishra holds a bachelor’s degree in science and a postgraduate diploma in management with a specialisation in finance from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar.
