THANE:The National Lok Adalat held in Belapur in Navi Mumbai on Saturday resolved a motor accident claim by awarding compensation of Rs 2.40 crore to the family of a deceased State Bank of India manager.
Banker Khurshid Ahmad died in a road accident on December 22, 2021 near Sawali Chowk in Nerul area, following which a case was registered at NRI police station.
He was 49 at the time of incident and had an annual income of Rs 25 lakh.
To seek justice and fair compensation for their loss, the grieving family approached the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal through their legal counsel.
