Chennai: Rajive Kumaraswami will succeed V. Suryanarayanan as managing director of Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Company (Chola MS) from from June 1, 2026,subject to regulatory approvals.
Most recently, he served as managing director and CEO of Magma General Insurance, which is being acquired by Patanjali Ayurved, in partnership with the DS Group for Rs 4,500 crore.

Suryanarayanan, who has been the MD of the company since 2020, will retire from the company on May 31, 2026.
His retirement also marks the completion of almost thirty years with the Murugappa Group.
