London: Aon plc has appointed Nick Fraccalvieri as CEO of global facultative for Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions, effective March 1, 2026.
In his new role, Fraccalvieri will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and driving the execution of Aon’s global facultative reinsurance strategy, with ceded facultative at the core of the proposition. He will work closely with colleagues across Aon’s Risk Capital platform with the aim of bringing differentiated value to clients, as well as strategies for sustainable, profitable growth.
Andy Marcell, CEO of global solutions for Aon, said: “Over the past decade, Andrew has transformed our global facultative reinsurance operations into a true industry powerhouse, whose scale and capabilities have continually helped to shape better business decisions for our clients. His outstanding leadership has been instrumental in building the scale, capability and global reputation we hold today.
Fraccalvieri will also lead the development of new digital capabilities and talent initiatives, ensuring Aon’s facultative offering remains at the forefront of innovative, client-centric solutions in an increasingly complex and evolving risk landscape.
Fraccalvieri replaces Andrew Laing, who will now focus fully on his responsibilities as UK CEO of Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions, a role to which he was appointed in July 2025. During his 10-year tenure as global facultative reinsurance leader, Laing was instrumental in driving huge growth and innovation in client solutions across Aon’s facultative reinsurance book of business.
Fraccalvieri joined Aon in 2023 to lead the firm’s EMEA facultative reinsurance operations, bringing with him more than 25 years’ industry experience, having held a range of senior leadership roles across regional and international markets. Since joining Aon, he has led a team that has delivered accelerating growth across the EMEA facultative reinsurance sector.
