London:Miller, an independent specialist (re)insurance broker, has appointed Sailesh Divakaram as Head of Treaty Asia since 2nd February..
Sailesh will be based in Miller’s Singapore office and reports to Richard Broad, head of Treaty (Asia Pacific). Together, they will drive the continued growth of Miller’s regional Treaty capability as a core pillar of the broker’s global reinsurance platform, with Sailesh responsible for developing the team serving a rapidly expanding Miller client base in Asia.

Sailesh’s appointment follows a pivotal year for both Miller’s Asia buildout and global reinsurance capabilities, with milestones in 2025 including Miller’s acquisition of AHJ and the launch of Miller Korea.
With a career spanning more than thirty years across broking, underwriting and risk management, Sailesh brings extensive relationships and a deep understanding of the Asian re/insurance market.
Before joining Miller, he worked for eight years at Gallagher Re as an executive director, responsible for the buildout of its Treaty business in Asia, and also served in the Treaty division at Guy Carpenter.
