Ramakrishnan Chander takes over as MD of LIC

Ramakrishnan Chander,58, has taken charge as one of the managing directors of Life Insurance Corporation on Monday. He was earlier an executive director of the corporation, He will be retiring on Sept 30, 2027 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, said LIC. A graduate and Fellow of Insurance Institute of India, he had joined the Corporation in 1990 as an assistant administrative officer.
