CCI said it has approved the proposed combination involving the merger of Girnar Finserv Private Limited, Girnar Insurance Brokers Private Limited, D2C Consulting Services Private Limited, and RB Info Services Private Limited into Artivatic Data Labs Private Limited
New Delhi:The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the proposed merger of entities operating insurtech platforms InsuranceDekho and RenewBuy, a move that will create a major integrated digital insurance distribution player in the country.
The anti-trust regulator said it has approved the proposed combination involving the merger of Girnar Finserv Private Limited, Girnar Insurance Brokers Private Limited, D2C Consulting Services Private Limited, and RB Info Services Private Limited into Artivatic Data Labs Private Limited.
Girnar Insurance Brokers Private Limited, controlled by Girnar Software Private Limited (GSPL), operates the InsuranceDekho platform and holds a composite broking license from IRDAI.
D2C Consulting Services and RB Info Services operate the RenewBuy platform, which makes insurance and financial products accessible to customers through its digitally enabled advisors.
