Joshi, who will get a tenure till 31 Aug,2027, will take over his new charge on Tuesday
New Delhi: The government on Monday has cleared the appointment of Sanjay Joshi,57, general manager, United India Insurance, as new CMD of Delhi based Oriental Insurance Company(OIC).
Joshi, who will get a tenure till 31 Aug,2017, will take over his new charge on Tuesday.
“I will take over my new charge at OIC headquarters,”said Joshi.
The post has fallen vacant after RR Singh had retired in Feb end.
Earlier, the Financial Services Institutions Bureau has (FSIB) had selected Joshi as the new CMD of OIC after interviewing five senior officials from PSU general insurance industry.
Joshi had joined UII as a direct recruit officer in 1989.
A post graduate in environmental science with PG Diploma in Marketing management, in his career spanning 34 years, he has almost handled all technical departments at various levels.

Mr Sanjay Joshi has already taken over the charge of Oriental Insurance.Its definitely a loss to United India and a gain to Oriental Insurance.
