Shriram General Insurance Company (SGIC) has settled the motor insurance claims within 24 hours of the incident in Jaipur (Rajasthan).
On Friday, December 20, 2024, a truck loaded with chemicals collided with a tanker carrying LPG and other vehicles including a CNG tanker parked outside a petrol pump. This resulted in a massive fire that killed 14 people so far, injured several people and the engulfed over 37 vehicles. Two out of the 37 vehicles that caught fire were insured with Shriram General Insurance.
