‘Aditi,’ introduced as a pilot in Mysuru, Mandya, and Chamraj Nagar, will soon extend its reach to Bengaluru, with broader ambitions for nationwide implementation.
Viren Prasad Shetty, vice-chairman of Narayana Hrudayalaya Ltd., outlined that ‘Aditi,’ with an annual premium of Rs 10,000, aims to cover a family of four.
The insurance product is designed to ensure accessibility, with coverage of up to Rs 5 lakh for treatments and Rs 1 crore for surgeries, markedly lower than traditional insurance rates.
However, the initiative is only offering inclusive and managed care within the Narayana Health network.
