French major SCOR is restructuring its business processes to become a simpler and more effective organisation reflecting its ambition to be a preferred reinsurer of the industry.
From Apr 1, the structures within Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health (L&H) are being simplified to achieve more immediate client access and decision-making.
As a solutions-driven organisation, SCOR looks to innovate to best create meaningful partnerships with clients, brokers and stakeholders, as well as empower its people to lead the industry, with an emphasis on expertise, said SCOR on Monday.
For P&C reinsurance, this means evolving into five reinsurance regions, the Reinsurance Specialty Lines (previously named Reinsurance Global Lines) and the Global Clients teams, all reporting directly to Jean-Paul Conoscente, CEO of SCOR P&C.
The five reinsurance regions will be led by:
-Maria Brohmi as head of P&C Western Europe & Middle East and Africa,
-Charles Bartlett as head of P&C North, Central & Eastern Europe,
-Nicolas Berg as head of P&C North America
-Fabio Pinho as head of P&C Latin America
-Mukul Kishore as head of P&C Asia Pacific
Eric Jenck remains head of Reinsurance Specialty Lines (previously named Reinsurance Global Lines), Guillaume Ominetti is appointed Head of Global Clients, and Daniel Duesterhaus is appointed Head of P&C Underwriting Solutions.
For L&H, this will be reflected in five key regions led by:
-Redmond Murphy as head of L&H UK & Ireland, Canada and South Africa, in addition to his role as deputy CEO L&H.
-Pilar Santamaria Cases as head of L&H Continental Europe & Latin America
-J.C. Brueckner as head of L&H US
-Chloe Wang as head of L&H Fast Growth Markets APAC
-Dion Russell as head of L&H Mature Markets APAC
“To reflect the strong focus of our Forward 2026 strategic plan on our L&H Global product lines, Bruno Latourrette is appointed head of Financial Solutions and Matthew Collins is appointed head of Global Longevity,” said SCOR.
