The government has nominated M. P. Tangirala, additional secretary, Department of Financial Services, as as part-time member of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India as well as director on the board of the Life Insurance Corporation with immediate effect.
Tangirala will replace Suchindra Misra in both the institutions.
