Aon-COFCO, a joint venture between COFCO and Aon plc, a leading global professional services firm, today announced appointment of Dai Jia, as general manager effective 1st May 2022.
Clare Wu, general manager of Aon-COFCO will retire from the company after more than two decades of serving the firm.
Aon-COFCO is the first joint-investment company granted an insurance brokerage license in China by the China Insurance Regulatory Commission in 2003.
Dai joined Aon-COFCO in 2016 in a senior management role and in 2017 was appointed as the deputy general manager and chief broking officer.
Since that time, he has led the special insurance team in risk management consulting, infrastructure engineering, financial and professional services, and credit insurance. Dai has also been responsible for the company’s premium placement and digital strategy.
Prior to joining Aon-COFCO, Dai served as general manager of Zurich Insurance Company (Beijing) and held management positions at American International Group (AIG), Bechtel China, Swiss Re and Shanghai Construction Engineering group.
