Swiss Re Corporate Solutions today announced that MSIG will use its next-generation platform, PULSE, to efficiently structure and manage their customers’ multinational insurance programmes.

The PULSE platform will empower MSIG to connect their global network partners, brokers and agents on one integrated platform. MSIG’s customers will also be able to access self-service tools to manage and view their global risks and coverages in one place.

MSIG will be the first commercial insurer to be licensed to use the PULSE platform on a standalone Software as a Service (SaaS) asis. Previously, other commercial insurers including LocalTapiola,Württembergische Versicherung and Economical Insurance have been licensed to use Swiss Re Corporate Solutions’ PULSE platform, as well as using its international network for local policy and claims services.

This also includes the support of global claims information management and billing. The cloud-based platform supports the collaboration process for MSIG’s global and local teams,their network partners, brokers and agents along the steps of structuring programmes, exposure management, local policy request and issuance as well as a premium collection.

The platform will be rolled out in phases with MSIG’s operations in Germany and France starting to use PULSE from 1 January 2022, to collaborate digitally with MSIG’s established network of affiliated servicing carriers. Later in the same year, PULSE will be rolled out to further MSIG producing offices across the world.
