New Delhi: The government has accepted the resignation of Dinesh Pant, 59, managing director, Life Insurance Corporation(LIC), who has been appointed as the member,Actuary, IRDAI.Pant, a qualified actuary, has been relieved from LIC with effect from Sept 24 and will take over his new assignment soon.
Pant had joined LIC in 1989 as a direct recruit officer and has an extensive exposure in most of the operational areas
