The board of the company has already initiated a structured sucession process to ensure continuity and stability. Tyagi will work with the team till mid April to ensure a smooth transition in keeping with the company’s strategic directions, said the insurer.
Mumbai:Anuj Tyagi has quit as MD & CEO of HDFC ERGO General Insurance on Friday to pursue his enterpreneural aspirations, said HDFC Ergo General Insurance in a statement.
He had joined the company in 2008 and was heading the company since July 1,2024.He will continue in the company till mid-April.
The board of the company has accepted his resignation and already has initiated a structured sucession process to ensure continuity and stability. Tyagi will work with the team to ensure a smooth transition in keeping with the company’s strategic directions, said the insurer.
HDFC Ergo leadership team will continue building a customer centric and digital first insurer business with profitable growth,further added the insurer.
HDFC ERGO General insurance has currentgly has two executive directors : Parthanil Ghosh, appointed focusing on growth areas like sales, distribution, underwriting, and digital platforms, and Samir H. Shah, who serves as executive director and CFO.
