The FSIB has aleady selected Lavanya R. Mundayur, CMD, Agriculture Insurance Company, as the next CMD of NIA and the necessary order is under process with the government.
Mumbai: The Ministry of Finance has given S. Sivasankar, executive director,New India Assurance, the additional charge of CMD of the company for three months since Aug 1.Girija Subramanian had retired as CMD of NIA on July 31.
Sivasankar joined Kolkata based National Insurance Company (NICL) as a direct recruit officer in 1991.
