Dublin:Aon plc today appointed of Steve Dando as chief Broking Officer for Aon’s Global Broking Center (GBC), the firm’s wholesale and specialty broking business, effective 1 July.
Dando will report to GBC CEO, Helene Madell.
As chief broking officer, Dando will set the broking strategy for the London-based GBC, strengthen market connectivity and lead Aon’s integration of analytics, capital and global expertise to deliver innovative risk transfer solutions for clients.

Dando most recently served as CEO of Aon’s Strategy and Technology Group and Inpoint across the UK and EMEA, where he led approximately 350 colleagues spanning advisory, analytics and portfolio strategy.

Under Dando’s broking leadership, the GBC will continue to advance its position as a global hub for innovation, portfolio solutions and access to capital, helping clients address evolving risk challenges with greater clarity and confidence.
