Abu Dhabi:Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC), a leading regional multi-line insurer,has started its reinsurance business from GIFT City, India’s premier International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) in Gujarat from April 1, 2026.
Earlier, it had received regulatory approval to establish a branch in India.
Through its India branch, ADNIC will offer a range of reinsurance solutions across property, casualty, and specialty lines, supporting local insurers with enhanced risk capacity and technical expertise.
The new branch will enable ADNIC to expand its international footprint and strengthen its presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing insurance markets. Operating from GIFT City provides access to a robust regulatory framework, tax efficiencies, and a globally competitive financial ecosystem designed to attract international insurers and reinsurers.
