The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India has approved the appointment Sandeep Batra, current an executive director, ICICI Bank as the next chairman of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance. The appointment will be effective from June 30, 2024. Batra, who has been also earlier MD& CEO of the life insurance company, will replace MS Ramachandran.
