Mumbai:

Insurance Institute of India (III) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Thailand Insurance Institute (TII) for capacity building of professionals in the insurance sector.

The MOU was a signed in a ceremony organized on 23rd May 2022, virtually.

III is involved in devising curriculums, developing study material, imparting training programs for the professionals in the insurance industry in India and abroad to meet the needs of the ever-dynamic insurance sector.

III is closely associated with all the segments of the insurance industry which includes iInsurance regulatory authorities, public and private sector insurance companies, other professionals,intermediaries in the insurance business and public at large.

Arising from the cooperation of the Casualty Insurance association, Thai Life Insurance Association and the Office of Insurance Commission, TII works with the intention to create insurance institutions, also to maintain the standards of the insurance profession, to develop and promote knowledge about all types of insurance for insurance professionals as also of people who use insurance services.
