Digital healthcare to witness exponential growth in next 5 years: Practo CEO

Digital adoption in healthcare is still very small and 90 per cent of healthcare is still offline today. So for the companies like Practo, there is a long way to go, he added.
“I expect that this single digit will grow into 20-30 per cent in the next 5-10 years and that is going to be a real big jump for the sector,” Shashank told PTI.

Delhi govt exempts road tax on battery-operated vehicles under its EV policy

Delhi government will provide financial assistance to those buying electric vehicles under Electric Vehicle Policy. Financial assistance of ₹30,000 will be given on the purchase of 2-wheelers, ₹1.5 lakh on cars and ₹30,000 on auto-rickshaws and e-rickshaws.

In August, Kejriwal announced that the Delhi government has notified the electric vehicle policy.

FPIs turn positive on Indian markets, invest Rs 1,086 cr so far in October

According to the depositories data, overseas investors pumped in a net Rs 5,245 crore into equities and withdrew Rs 4,159 crore from the debt market during October 1-9.

This translated into a total net inflow of Rs 1,086 crore.

In September, FPIs were net sellers at Rs 3,419 crore.

“Better than expected Q2 (earnings) performance, rising GST collection and a general opening up of the economy are helping India in becoming an attractive investment destination,” Harsh Jain, co-founder and COO at Groww, said.

PM Modi launches property-card scheme to aid rural households

The government plans to use drone technology to map land parcels in rural areas and cover some 620,000 villages over the next four years, Modi said.

Nurses suffer burn-out, psychological distress in COVID fight – association
