India confirms first death following Covid-19 vaccination

India’s farm sector performed well despite COVID-19, says Tomar

India has launched various projects under the National Mission on Sustainable Agriculture to develop, demonstrate and disseminate the techniques to make agriculture resilient to adverse impacts of climate change, union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said adding that India is promoting organic farming at a large scale.

”The agriculture sector in India performed well during the severe COVID-19 pandemic and registered an all-time high production of 305 million tonne of foodgrains as well as their exports (in 2020-21), contributing to the global food security,” he added.

US study: Many facing new medical issues post-Covid

Their most common new health problems were pain, including in nerves and muscles; breathing difficulties; high cholesterol; malaise and fatigue; and high blood pressure. Other issues included intestinal symptoms; migraines; skin problems; heart abnormalities; sleep disorders; and mental health conditions like anxiety and depression. Post-Covid problems were common even among people who had not gotten sick from the virus at all.

In terms of infections, India follows in the second place with 29,510,410 cases.

The other worst countries with over 3 million cases are Brazil (17,452,612), France (5,803,012), Turkey (5,336,073), Russia (5,162,049), the UK (4,589,398), Italy (4,245,779), Argentina (4,145,482), Colombia (3,777,600), Spain (3,741,767), Germany (3,724,168) and Iran (3,039,432), the CSSE figures showed.
