Govt notifies new rules for e-commerce entities

According to the new rules, the e-commerce players will have to display the total price of goods and services offered for sale along with a break-up of other charges.
Under the rules, e-commerce players have to display details about return, refund, exchange, warranty and guarantee, delivery and shipment, and any other information that may be required by consumers to make informed decisions.

After US directive,DGCA tells airlines to inspect Boeing B737s in fleet

The US aviation regulator Federal Aviation Administration asked the airlines to inspect their B737 aircraft that had not flown for seven days or more and the ones that had operated not more than 10 flights after return to service.
A senior DGCA official said the Indian regulator had asked Indian carriers SpiceJet, Vistara and Air India Express to inspect their B737 aircraft as directed by the FAA.

The emergency directive was “prompted by four single-engine shutdowns” that happened due to compromised air check valves in the engines of the certain B737 aircraft, said the FAA in its emergency directive.

RBI panel pitches for incentives to promote usage of QR code transactions

Earlier, a committee on deepening digital payments, constituted by RBI under the chairmanship of Nandan Nilekani, non-executive chairman, Infosys, had said “Market forces must result in transaction pricing that creates a viable ecosystem. Regulator should adjust the interchange rate and let the market compete on MDR (Merchant Discount Rate) ultimately growing acceptance ecosystem rather than inhibiting it.”

Siemens to roll out flexible working app for 100,000 staff

Staff worried about COVID-19 infections among fellow workers can also use a contact tracing feature on the app created under a partnership with U.S. software developer Salesforce.

It can also block desks in an area if information is received about a person suspected of having the virus, said Siemens, which already sells the app to external customers.
