The one-day strike against the passage of the General Insurance Business (Nationalisation) Amendment Bill 2021 in the Lok Sabha was successful across the country, General Insurance Employees All India Association’s General Secretary K Govindan claimed.

India reports 42,982 new COVID-19 cases

Cumulatively, 48,93,42,295 vaccine doses have been administered through 57,21,937 sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am today. 37,55,115 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours, said the Union Health Ministry.
