Terming this as the world’s biggest online disease surveillance platform, he stated that it is in sync with the National Digital Health Mission and fully compatible with the other digital information systems presently being used in India. The refined IHIP with automated -data will help in a big way in real-time data collection, aggregation & further analysis of data that will aid and enable evidence-based policymaking, Vardhan explained.

57% of Indian organizations suffered unexpected downtime in 2020 due to data loss, reveals Acronis Survey

While 2020 saw companies purchase new systems to enable and secure remote workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, those investments are not paying off. The global survey discovered that 70% of companies in India now run as many as 10 solutions simultaneously for their data protection and cybersecurity needs, while the remaining 30% run more than 10 solutions – yet 57% of all those organizations suffered unexpected downtime last year because of data loss.

UK’s Boris Johnson launches mass testing programme as economy reopens

Johnson, who is expected to confirm plans to relaunch international travel and open sections of the economy later on Monday, said the new mass testing programme would break the chain of transmissions and spot cases without symptoms
Vaccine passports are also being trial led for mass events.

Under the current plan international travel will not resume until May 17 at the earliest.
