Insurance companies to refund excess premium under NHPM
“We have proposed that the insurance companies will have to mandatorily refund the excess premium if the claim ratio turns out to be less than 85 percent under this project. This will ensure that insurance agencies do not have windfall gain from the ambitious scheme which aims at supporting the poorest 40 percent of the population for expenditure on health treatment,” said Bhushan .

Cabinet nod to amend a law for faster disposal of commercial disputes
According to the bill which is pending in Parliament, the specified value of a commercial dispute will be brought down to Rs 3 lakh from the present Rs 1 crore.
The proposed ordinance will replace the pending bill. It would bring down the time taken from the present 1,445 days in the resolution of commercial disputes of lesser value.
