87 million users’ data improperly shared, over half a million from India: Facebook

As per a table of compromised users, most of the personal information that may have been improperly shared with Cambridge Analytica are from the US – 70.8 million or 81 per cent. Indonesia and the United Kingdom stand a distant second with 1.1 million users’ data being compromised. India ranks seventh wherein information of 562,455 of its users may have been compromised.

Starbucks coffee in California must have cancer warning, judge says

“While plaintiff offered evidence that consumption of coffee increases the risk of harm to the fetus, to infants, to children and to adults, defendants’ medical and epidemiology experts testified that they had no opinion on causation,” Berle wrote in his proposed ruling. “Defendants failed to satisfy their burden of proving … that consumption of coffee confers a benefit to human health.”

A bench of Justices Naresh Patil and G S Kulkarni also said that merely grounding some aircraft or following the directive of the European Air Safety Authority (EASA) against the use of P&W 1100 engines belonging to the ‘450 and beyond’ series, was not enough.The court said it was the “duty” of the Union government (UoI) and the DGCA to ensure that all aircraft were safe for travel and passengers were assured of their safety.
